Vasu is a Senior Advisor to Langham Capital in India.
He has over 45 years of experience as a Consultant and an IAS officer. Since January 1996, Vasu has undertaken consultancy projects in the areas of infrastructure, industry and finance for clients including UNIDO, the World Bank, National Grid U.K., British Gas, Soros Fund, Bechtel and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson.
During his 25 year tenure as an IAS officer with the Government of India, he held senior positions with the Planning Commission, the Ministry of Steel, Power, SSI, Petroleum, and Home Affairs.
Vasu has and continues to serve on the Board of Directors of various companies including Hindustan Oil Exploration, Purearth Infrastructure, Hindustan Motors, ITC (IDBI Nominee), ITC Hotels, Haldia Petrochemicals, and Vestas Wind Technology. He also served on the Advisory Board of Deutsche Bank.
