Job Description: Analyst
An analyst is an entry level position that is appropriate for bright candidates from a range of backgrounds with a Bachelors or Masters degree in a discipline that requires analytical thinking, structuring of arguments, and articulate writing. Successful candidates are highly motivated, confident, and eager to learn.
An analyst should expect to be part of a variety of project teams and will directly support the project manager and senior banker leading that initiative. Analysts will also participate in all aspects of supporting the firm’s broader corporate finance initiatives.
While analysts will be based out of our Delhi office, candidates will become part of a broader pool of associates and analysts spread between London and Delhi and will work on transactions involving Europe, the US and India / Asia.
Tasks include:
- Industry, market, and company analysis;
- Identifying transaction opportunities and counterparties;
- Supporting preparation of pitches and presentations;
- Supporting preparation of financial models, valuation analysis, and transaction structuring
- Support project team in deal management
Required skills, attributes and experience
- Highly successful candidates of relevant Bachelors or Masters programs
- Basic knowledge of company financial statements
- Ability to articulate and structure arguments
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks appropriately
- Ready for client facing work
- Highly motivated, confident and articulate
