HCL acquires TEM leader, Control Point Solutions
In September 2008, HCL Technologies, acquired Control Point Solutions Inc, a leading player in the US telecom expense management (TEM) space.
This was the first ever acquisition by an Indian BPO of a company in the TEM space. The deal will help HCL Technologies strengthen its multi-service delivery platform and remote infrastructure service capabilities and will enhance its ability to provide end-to-end outsource services in this sector.
The transaction contributed to Control Point Solutions’ efforts to enhance its current platform, and offer a greater number of services to its clients.
